Jetstar’s strategy involved driving more measurable digital content that could be shared among their followers. Zinc proactively pitched various activations to excite, engage and create shareable content across various channels. Zinc proposed an ‘Easter Squad’ activation to not only surprise travelling passengers that day, but also allow Jetstar to create additional content to share with the rest of the world! This comprised of Jetstar crew riding bicycles inside the terminal handing out Easter eggs that were more than normal eggs – there were surprises inside for everyone and the possibility to win Jetstar flight vouchers.
Zinc’s production team were onsite to capture the fantastic reactions and created a 50 second video and GIF to share online within two days to roll out for everyone to enjoy for Easter. It quickly became Jetstar’s second biggest Facebook activation in Australia.
