We support Cambodian Kids Foundation
Everyday is an opportunity to be better
Anyone who comes into contact with Zinc should be 'better off' for the experience. Why? Because it's just a better way to do business.
Good business isn't only about profit, it's about creating sustainable value for all of our stakeholders. We want to share the value we create and that means giving back. The Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF) is the primary recipient of our self-imposed social levy- including volunteering, fundraising and special projects. CKF is a 100% volunteer operated, non-political, non-religious, not-for-profit foundation. They believe that in order to change the future of Cambodia, they must nurture the youngest generation of Cambodians and empower them to be the leaders of tomorrow- and we wholeheartedly agree.
Making a difference in the world makes a difference at Zinc
Building a better Cambodia also happens to be an amazing team building exercise. Sharing a greater good helps us to build stronger bonds within our teams, and that shows in the work we do for our clients. Zinc team members have the opportunity to assist with CKF projects both on the ground in Cambodia and back here in Australia. In their spare time, many Zinc team members help with marketing, fundraising and digital projects to support CKF- it's a fantastic way to develop new skills while bringing a new perspective to their work.
The chance to change a life
Once a year, a small team from Zinc set off on a mission to Cambodia – we call it Mishcam. The team have the opportunity to teach in schools and help on other vital projects while gaining on-the-ground volunteering experience that means just as much to us as it does to those the children of Cambodia. Mishcam is a chance to pursue a fundamental human desire – to make a difference to the lives of others, no matter how big or small.
